Terms of Service for SUPKA
By accessing or using the SUPKA app on iPhone or iPad, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
SUPKA helps you track paddling and related outdoor activities on iPhone and iPad. You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and safety regulations.
2. Disclaimer of Liability
SUPKA is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
- Not a Navigation Tool: SUPKA is NOT a certified maritime navigation or life-saving device.
- Assumption of Risk: Paddling and water sports involve inherent risks. By using this app, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety, observing weather and water conditions, and adhering to local regulations.
- Weather & conditions data: Forecasts and water information (including WeatherKit, Open-Meteo, USGS, NOAA, and similar sources) are informational only. Do not rely on them as your sole source for safety-critical decisions.
- Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall the developers of SUPKA be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, personal injury or loss of property) arising from your use or inability to use this application.
3. Safety First
Always carry appropriate safety equipment, including a personal flotation device (PFD), and have a secondary means of communication and navigation. Do not rely solely on the app or Liveguard shares for survival or location tracking.
4. Accounts, backups, and Pro
- Sign-in (Apple / Google) is optional for local features and may be required for Cloud Sync.
- iCloud and Google Drive backups you start use your storage quotas and accounts.
- Local tracking, Logbook, maps, statistics, effort / training load, and local import/export are free.
- SUPKA Pro means Cloud Sync (and restore). A soft trial may unlock sync temporarily. Paid App Store subscriptions may be offered when enabled; Apple handles billing and refunds. Lifetime purchases are not currently offered.
- You may delete your signed-in account from Account → Delete Account (type DELETE). Cloud sync data and on-device SUPKA workouts are removed; iCloud/Drive backups and App Store purchases are not auto-deleted.
5. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The latest version is also available in the app and on our public legal pages.
