Privacy Policy for TANK ’84
TANK ’84 (“the Game”) is published by AviLab. This policy explains what the Game does and does not do with information. It is written for players and for App Store review.
1. Short version
We do not run our own accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. High scores live on your device. Nearby play stays on the local network. Optional Game Center is Apple’s service, not ours.
2. Information we process
- High-score table: name initials, score, stage, and player count are stored in on-device settings (UserDefaults). They are not uploaded to our servers — we do not operate a game server.
- Nearby two-player: if you Host or Join, the Game uses Apple Multipeer Connectivity and Bonjour on the local Wi-Fi / peer network to exchange live match state. That traffic does not go through our computers. Your device name may be visible to the other phone in the room.
- Game Center (optional): if you choose Game Center sign-in or matchmaking, Apple processes your Game Center identity under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
- Audio / haptics: stay on device.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, payment card data, or advertising IDs. We do not use third-party ad networks or analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. Children
The Game is a general-audience arcade. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Nearby play should be used with people you are with in the same room.
5. Retention and deletion
Local high scores remain until you delete the Game or clear the app’s data. Uninstalling the Game removes that local table. Nearby sessions end when you leave the match or disconnect.
6. Sharing
We do not sell data. We do not share player data with advertisers. Apple may process Game Center and device data as described in Apple’s policies when you use those system features.
7. Your choices
- Do not use Nearby or Game Center if you do not want those system features.
- iOS Settings lets you control Local Network permission used for Nearby play.
- Delete the app to erase local scores stored by the Game.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and this public web page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
