Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and AVI Apps Labs, operating as AviLab (“AviLab”, “we”, “us”), for this website and for AviLab software. We are based in Ontario, Canada. Contact: avi.apps.labs@gmail.com.

By using this website you accept these terms. By downloading an AviLab app from the App Store you also accept Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, plus the product rules below that do not conflict with Apple’s terms.

Car Wallet also has in-app Terms of Service. TANK '84 and SUPKA have in-app terms. If a product page is more specific, it controls for that product. Apple’s standard EULA controls the licensed copy of the app.

1. Agreement

AviLab apps on Apple platforms use Apple’s standard Licensed Application EULA. We do not replace that EULA with a custom store license. These Terms of Use add studio and product rules for the website and for how you use the software.

If you do not agree, do not use the site or the apps. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission (Car Wallet’s product terms treat this as generally under 16).

2. This website

This site exists so you can see what AviLab makes, find support, and read these legal pages. Names, screenshots, and status labels can change. “In development” and “App Review” / “Coming soon” mean the product is not offered here as a finished download.

The site is provided as-is. We may change or take down pages. We do not promise that every third-party link will keep working.

3. Apps, Apple’s EULA, and purchases

Downloads, prices, taxes, family sharing, and refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. We do not receive your card number. To request a refund, use Apple’s report-a-problem flow.

Current status:

  • Car Wallet — available on the App Store. Listing.
  • Sea Battle — available on the App Store. Listing.
  • SUPKA — available on the App Store. Listing.
  • TANK '84 — in development; not on the App Store.

“Lifetime” in Car Wallet means access for as long as we keep that product running as a supported app — not a promise that the App Store, iOS, or our servers last forever. If we ever discontinue a product, we will try to give notice on this site or in the app. Local/offline features may keep working on a device that still has the app, as long as the OS still runs it.

4. Car Wallet

Available

In-app terms: car-wallet-glow.vercel.app/terms.

Car Wallet is a personal log. You are responsible for the accuracy of mileage, fuel, service, and money you enter. It is not professional financial, legal, tax, or mechanic advice. Reminders and efficiency math can be wrong. Do not rely on them as the only reason to skip service or to drive an unsafe vehicle.

Optional AI Scan uses Google Gemini to read text from an image you choose. Check every field before you save. The app does not audit your books or your car.

On iOS, paid features include a 30-day trial, a one-time lifetime unlock (with a base of three vehicles), extra vehicle slots, and optional AI Scan credits. There is no subscription in the current iOS products. Fair-use limits exist so cloud sync stays usable for personal logs (including a cap on transactions per vehicle per month and a character limit on notes). Do not use the service as a commercial fleet backend or to scrape the cloud.

You are responsible for backups. Use the in-app export. Google Drive backup, if you enable it, is your Drive — we are not responsible if you delete that folder or lose that Google account.

Nearby map shortcuts open Google Maps (or the web Maps page). Third-party map use is under Google’s terms.

5. Sea Battle

Available

Play vs Computer is offline. Nearby play is local network only. Play Online uses Game Center. There is no AviLab chat and no user-run game server.

Play fairly. Do not use the local-network or Game Center features to harass anyone, to send anything other than the game protocol, or to disrupt other players’ devices. Call signs are short labels, not public profiles. You are responsible for any name you choose.

Game Center is Apple’s service. If Apple suspends your Game Center account, Play Online will not work. Nearby play does not need Game Center.

The game includes licensed and public-domain art and audio credited in Settings / Rules. Those licences stay with their authors. You do not get a right to rip those assets out of the app for your own product.

6. TANK '84

In development

In-app terms: avi-ca.github.io/tank-84-legal/terms.html.

Play versus the computer is offline. Same-device play stays on that phone. Nearby play uses Apple Multipeer Connectivity on the local network; internet is not required. Game Center is off in this development build.

Play fairly. Do not use nearby play to harass anyone, to send anything other than the game protocol, or to disrupt other players’ devices. Score initials are short labels, not public profiles. You are responsible for any name you choose.

The game is not on the App Store yet. Names, maps, and modes can change. The current build has no StoreKit purchases.

7. SUPKA

Available

In-app terms: avi-ca.github.io/supka-legal/terms.html. App Store listing: SUPKA.

SUPKA helps you record paddling. It is not a certified navigation device, marine radio, or medical device. It is not a substitute for a chart, a PFD, a weather briefing, or a way to call for help.

Liveguard and SOS do not contact emergency services. They do not call 911, 112, or any dispatch centre. They only open Messages or a share sheet so you can send a pin to a number you typed. If you have an emergency, use the official emergency number for where you are.

Paddling has real risk. You are responsible for your safety, local rules, and conditions. Weather and water numbers in the app (WeatherKit, Open-Meteo, USGS, NOAA, and similar) are informational. Do not treat them as an official marine forecast.

HealthKit data is used with your permission to record workouts. It is fitness logging, not a diagnosis.

Paid Pro plans shown in the development UI are not for sale until in-app purchases are turned on. Do not rely on prices or entitlements in a development build as a live offer.

8. Acceptable use

You may use AviLab software for personal, lawful purposes. You may not:

  • break the law, including privacy, export, or computer-misuse law;
  • probe, overload, or break into our systems, Firebase, or another user’s device;
  • use bots or scrapers on cloud APIs except ordinary use of the official app;
  • reverse engineer an app except to the extent a law where you live says we cannot stop you (for example interoperability rules);
  • remove copyright or credit notices;
  • resell, rent, or wrap the apps as your own product;
  • upload malware, or content you do not have the right to process (including other people’s documents in Car Wallet AI Scan).

We may suspend a cloud account that is abused. That does not take away App Store refund rights, which stay with Apple.

9. Intellectual property

The AviLab name, product names, icons, site copy, and the software we publish are owned by us or licensed to us. We do not claim a registered trademark on this page. Other marks (Apple, App Store, Google, Game Center, and so on) belong to their owners.

You keep the records you enter (vehicle logs, workouts, photos you take). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited right to host or process it as needed to provide a feature you turned on (for example Firestore sync).

10. Feedback

If you email ideas to avi.apps.labs@gmail.com, we may use them to improve products without paying you, and without any obligation to keep them secret or to build them. You still own your idea; you simply allow us to use the feedback. Do not send anything you cannot share.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the website and the software are provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that an app will be error-free, that cloud sync will never fail, or that notifications will fire on time.

Your statutory rights stay. If consumer protection law where you live says we cannot exclude a warranty or a remedy, that law wins. This section only limits what the law lets us limit.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AviLab and AVI Apps Labs are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute software, arising from the site or the apps — including reliance on Car Wallet figures, a missed Sea Battle or TANK '84 reconnect, or a SUPKA route, weather number, or Liveguard share.

For claims the law lets us cap, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that app in the 12 months before the claim (often zero if the app is free), or CAD $50, whichever is greater — unless a consumer law says a higher floor applies, in which case that floor applies.

We are not liable for Apple, Google, GitHub, map, weather, or Health outages, or for SMS/share-sheet delivery after you hit send.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ontario have jurisdiction, except that you may still bring a claim in a court the law of your country requires for consumers, if that right cannot be waived.

If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

14. Changes

We may post an updated version at this URL with a new date. Continued use of the website after that date means the new terms apply to that use. For a shipped app, material changes will also be reflected in the in-app legal text where we keep one. Apple’s EULA changes only when Apple changes it.
